General Dental Practice

The General Dental Practice Committees and groups represent all General Dental Practitioners across the UK.

Hospital dental services

The Hospital Dental Services committees represent the interests and act on behalf of dentists working in hospitals across the UK.

Dental Public Health Committee

The Dental Public Health Committee (DPHC) is concerned with all matters that affect dentists who are working in public health across the UK.

Young Dentists Committee

The Young Dentists Committee (YDC) represents dentists who have been qualified for up to 10 years. The Committee is made up of a variety of young dentists who bring an enormous wealth of knowledge and experience to this group.

Community and Public Dental Service Committee

The Community and Public Dental Services committee represents the interests and act on behalf of dentists employed in community and primary dental services across the UK.

Student Committee

The Student Committee is the voice of dental undergraduate students in the UK and has representatives from all 16 dental schools.

Armed Forces Committee

The Armed Forces Committee (AFC) represents and supports the interests of all BDA members working in the Armed Forces dental services, including Civilian Dental Practitioners (CDPs).

Dental University Educators and Researchers

The Central Committee for University Dental Educators and Researchers (CCUDER) represents the interests and acts on behalf of dentists working in academia, research, and teaching across the UK.

British Dental Students' Association

​The British Dental Students' Association (BDSA) is a student body run by an annually elected Executive Committee and student representatives from each UK dental school.
