Medicines recall: Paracetamol 500mg tablets

Boots have recalled their own label Paracetamol 500mg tablets.

Following a customer complaint, it has been found that the foil blister inside the carton of Paracetamol 500mg tablets (16s), incorrectly stated ‘Aspirin 300mg Dispersible Tablets’.

The manufacturer Aspar pharmaceuticals have retrieved and inspected the reported batch and confirmed that the tablets in the blister packs are Paracetamol 500mg tablets.

The batch, number 241005, which was first distributed on 14 January 2025 has an expiry date of December 2029.

You must stop supplying the batch immediately, quarantine all stock and return it to your supplier using your supplier’s approved process.
